AND Andrea Zencher the new director ofApsp Clementino Vannetti. Born in Rovereto in 1986, he has a CV of great experience in the sector: currently director of APSP Ubaldo Campagnola of Avio, he has also already worked at Vannetti, from 2013 to 2015 he was an official and head of the accounting office.
He therefore knows not only the world of retirement homes, but also the reality of Rovereto and the wider context of Vallagarina. Zencher was the winner at the end of a‘comprehensive selectionwhich ended with an interview in which two other professionals also participated.
President Daniela Roner explains: «A long discussion engaged us, in the Board of Directors, in the hours after the talks. The profiles that reached the end of the selection were of the highest level and I would like to publicly thank them for their commitment. I also thank those who followed the selection. Now we wish good luck to Dr. Zencher who will support the Board of Directors and the staff through years of truly important challenges.”

In the near future, in fact, the APSP is awaited by many commitments. The president explains them again. «First of all, there is the construction of the new RSA in the former Master Tools area to follow: with 20 million of provincial funding for the works and a value of 4 million of the land that the Municipality sold to the APSP. The time will also arrive during the year for the inauguration of the expansion and redevelopment works of the Alzheimer Center at the Kolbe Rsa in Borgo Sacco.
Important works will affect the “Red House”, the historic headquarters of the APSP. In fact, here there will be construction sites for anti-seismic consolidation, preparatory to the opening of a wing to be dedicated to the psychiatric and neuropsychiatric sector which will be a reference for the entire Vallagarina. The works are the responsibility of the Province and the Health Authority and we will have to progressively reorganize spaces and offices. Also at the Casa Rossa, with works supervised by the Municipality of Rovereto, there will be the renovation of the first and sixth floors.
The priority will be to bring the budget into balance. Last year, the launch of the new “Fontana” RSA had a strong impact, with all the expenses associated with the opening of an additional structure, but also the choice to organize the work with smaller nuclei. This last element improves the service to users and the work of professionals, but obviously affects costs, given that some new hires were necessary. This is a choice that we will carry forward, to always give the best answers to elderly people, families and workers. We hope – and this is also Upipa’s position in the broader Trentino system – that the Province understands the request to finance the extraparameter, that is to recognize, and therefore finance, the commitment of those structures which, in the face of worsening conditions users’ health averages, they invest in hiring more nurses and health workers compared to the parameter set by the regulations”.
