Today, thanks to the stubbornness of the Puglia Region, the Municipality of Bari, the Municipality of Modugno, the unions and above all the resistance of the workers, we managed to reach a conclusion”.

“This means that we never give up and that until even the last job is safeguarded, no one will take a step back. Today we celebrate, however – adds the governor – we must remember the behavior of a multinational which after having purchased a very prestigious Italian brand has relocated it and wanted to close this factory; we will not forget the name of this multinational. One person we must mention today is Leo Carolithe head of the regional task force, without whom none of this would have been possible.”
