Great apprehension in these minutes in the area Guidonia where a high column of black smoke rose. The flames are concentrated near a disused warehouse. It is advisable to close the windows in the area surrounding the fire.

An attack has been underway for about half an hour serious fire near a warehouse disused in via Lago dei Tartari in the Guidonia area at Bivio di Guidonia, in the industrial area. “A fire broke out in via Lago dei Tartari, al Guidonia crossroads, in the industrial area. The Fire Brigade is present on site. The flames broke out in a disused warehouse. It is advisable to ask for windows as the smoke affects the surrounding area”, this is what we read on the “Città Guidonia Montecelio” Facebook page.
“Unbreathable air”
The column of black smoke released by this fire is also very visible from Rome and the citizens, both in the area surrounding the fire and in Rome, are worried. What’s burning? It is not currently known what materials are burning but several people report unbreathable air and acrid smell in the vicinity of the fire. Firefighters are working on site.
