Another step for the redevelopment of Palazzo Minoletti in Gallarate. An allocation of 2 million euros for the three-year period 2024-2026 for the historic building in the city centre, which will become a highly specialized training centre, was approved the other day by the regional council on the proposal of the councilor for economic development, Guido Guidesi , in concert with the Councilor for Culture, Francesca Caruso. The provision contains the outline of the Economic, Social and Territorial Relaunch Agreement (AREST) aimed at the implementation of the project called ‘Gallarate in Lombardy and Europe 2022’ Palazzo Minoletti, a declared property of historical and artistic interest – commented the Gallaratese regional councilor Caruso – is a very important cultural place for Gallarate and it was right to think about its rebirth.

For this reason, I would like to thank my colleague Guido Guidesi for immediately embracing the local requests for the reactivation of this building. After the redevelopment, Palazzo Minoletti will become an important training venue. In fact, there are many companies and economic operators interested in the professional figures trained by the highly specialized courses of Its Incom, who will be responsible for the management”.

The measure is promoted by the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Gallarate. “I am very satisfied with the approval of the resolution relating to the Economic, Social and Territorial Relaunch Agreement by the regional council”, said the Gallaratese councilor for Productive Activities Rocco Longobardi. “Restoring life, color and light to Palazzo Minoletti was and is an important objective for this administration. Located in the heart of the city, the structure will be frequented by many people and will certainly create a significant impact in favor of our local activities”. The redevelopment of the building is envisaged and the interventions also include the restoration of the facades, structural works and works on the systems. The total cost of the operation amounts to almost 15 million euros. Together with the Region, the Municipality of Gallarate is co-financing the project and will allocate almost 4 million euros while the remaining approximately 9 million are paid by the Its Incom foundation.
