Inline Skate shines at the Fisr National Games – Teramo

GIULIANOVA. Excellent results for ORSvaldo Pistilli And Sofia Del Castello, two very young athletes from the ASD “Giulianova Skate in line”, at the Fisr (Italian Roller Sports Federation) national games which took place from 13 to 15 June at the Fanano ice rink, in the province of Modena. The rookie Pistilli, 10 years old, won the victory in the 8-lap road race, and a fourth place in the “dexterity 2” course out of 120 participants, while Del Castello, 8 years old, in his first national competition, she is placed in the top half of the rankings out of over 140 athletes in all the races she has taken part in. The Corsican skating event saw the participation of 80 sports clubs and over 600 athletes, coming from all over Italy, including the islands, from the very young (8-9 years) and debutant (10-11 years) categories.
«It was exciting to see boys and girls, coming from different regions of Italy, put themselves to the test and give their best, encouraged by the great sporting spirit that characterized the entire event», reads the note from the ASD Giulianova Skate in line, «our company raised the name of Giulianova with two very talented athletes, who showed their potential on several occasions throughout the event. Pistilli shows a bright future for the next competitions, while Del Castello showed high-level technique and professionalism despite his young age.”
