Temple tour bus launched, agreement with hoteliers to improve services aimed at tourists

Federalberghi, Confcommercio, Agrigento Extra and TUA (Trasporti urban Agrigento) have signed an agreement to enhance services aimed at tourists, aiming to further develop the attractiveness of the city and promote the territory in view of Agrigento Capital of Culture 2025. The agreement of co-marketing provides that the accommodation facilities participating in the initiative, thanks to an interface, can sell travel tickets for the Temple Tour Bus tourist service directly to their guests.

The Temple Tour Bus is TUA’s tourist service, active until the end of the summer period, which allows you to visit the City of Temples on board characteristic open-top buses. There are two routes offered (red line and blue line) and include several intermediate stops at the main tourist attractions of Agrigento, in the hop-on/hop-off mode (hop on and off). The Temple Tour Bus ticket is also valid for the urban service lines managed by TUA.

So far, 8 hotels participating in Federalberghi Agrigento and 16 B&Bs in the circuit have already taken part in the initiative Agrigento Extra, for a total of 24 structures. Confcommercio Agrigento also signed the agreement. The agreement was signed in the name of hospitality, because welcoming tourists also means making it easy for them to travel within the city, to the airports or other destinations, allowing them to optimize their time.

This strategic partnership with the hotel sector reflects TUA’s vision of integrated and user-oriented public transport and is of even greater importance, from a tourism perspective, in view of Agrigento Capital of Culture 2025. A historic year for the City of Temples , to which the company wants to make its contribution through its services.

Further information on the Temple Tour Bus timetables and routes can be found on the official website of the tourist service and on TUA’s social channels.
