Amatori Rugby Bitonto is organizing an open day of mini rugby on Saturday 22 June at the municipal pitch of Palombaio, located in via Sylos.

The event is open to all children between 6 and 15 years old but there will also be space for those over 15. Furthermore, some seniors will also be present who will help the technicians during the activity. The open day will begin at 5pm and end at 7pm.

After the activity there is the famous rugby “third half”, a post-training refreshment as per rugby tradition. It starts when the referee blows his whistle to end the match. From that moment the two teams are no longer rivals and go to celebrate together. The tradition includes a banquet, offered by the team that hosted the match. The cordial atmosphere in which the tensions of the match are dissolved is one of the aspects that most entertain those who participate and most fascinate those who follow this sport from an external point of view.
