The president of the Planning Commission Gregorio Buccolieri expressed his applause for the initiative of the Order of Architects of Catanzaro, chaired by the architect. Eros Corapi, who organized a training session on the theme “Designing the stadium of the future, new models and opportunities”. The event, held in collaboration with the Foundation of the Order of Landscape Architects, Planners and Conservators of the province of Catanzarowith the patronage of Municipality of Catanzaro, US Catanzaro and the Italian Referees Association (Catanzaro section), saw architecture professionals discuss new solutions for the stadium of the future as an attractive element around which to regenerate the urban fabric of the neighborhoods.
President Buccolieri expressed his appreciation for the initiative, underlining the importance of the support of professional associations and intermediate bodies which can add important technical tools to the political debate.
In this case, the Order of Architects of Catanzaro, led by Eros Corapi, has demonstrated its ability to promote initiatives that involve the community and offer innovative solutions to the city’s problems”, declared Buccolieri.
“The event offered a unique opportunity for architectural professionals to share their ideas and experiences on the topic of the stadium of the future, and to offer the Catanzaro community exact knowledge about the new trends and solutions for the stadium at a very opportune moment expected that the PSC process is proceeding quickly on the initiative of the deputy mayor and councilor for urban planning, Giusy Iemma.
This type of initiative is fundamental for the growth and development of the city, from the perspective in which decisive steps forward can only be made if there is collaboration and dialogue between the social partners and the components of the entire ruling class also made up of the professional associations ”, concluded Buccolieri.
