Diego Fabbri, one of the most prestigious geopolitical experts in Italy, does not see a solution to the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East in the short term. He declared this on the sidelines of the crowded meeting he held in Vicenza, organized by Confartigianato in the conference room in via Fermi. It was the president Gianluca Cavion who presented it to the members, in the calendar of meetings of the School of political culture organized by the association.

Fabbri touched on various themes in his presentation: regarding the upcoming November elections in the USA, he underlined that essentially American politics will not change, regardless of whether Trump or Biden wins. Regarding China, he explained, again on the sidelines of the meeting while answering journalists’ questions, that it will not become the new world superpower, that is, it will not take the place of the USA.

He also touched on the problem of the economy, underlining the need for a change of mentality: “The world has changed and is more difficult than it was ten or even thirty years ago. We are faced with a large part of the world that does not want to become like us. Entrepreneurs in this context have to produce, they have to deal with more difficult and expensive availability of raw materials. But if they want to have a future, companies must transform themselves into cultural mediators”.
