MILAN – New hospital in Busto-Gallarate, the motion was rejected of the opposition regional councilors of Varese. The vote
Yet another debate at the Pirellone on the single hospital of Busto-Gallarate ends with a split vote. The controversy

Ostriches against ostriches
An accusation, this, that practically simultaneously it was also addressed by the other party, namely the regional councilors Luca Daniel Ferrazzi (Lombardia Migliore), Samuele Astuti (Democratic Party) and Giuseppe Licata (Action – Italia Viva – Renew Europe), the first signatories of the document rejected in the council chamber. «A shameful and incomprehensible attitude of those who hides, like ostriches, its head in the sand, ignoring the concerns that many citizens have expressed and which will certainly not subside after today’s vote.” Yet the motion, say the Varese councilors, «he simply asked to put those vaunted commitments on paper, especially during the election campaign, regarding the maintenance of significant territorial health functions in the areas that currently host the hospitals of Busto and Gallarate”.
