“For us it is an important day, it represents an evening to be together but also an important moment to make connections, bringing businesses together. The Venice Boat Show has always focused heavily on the issue of ecological, energy and digital transition. The issue delicate nature of this city requires a change of pace both in production and design terms to ensure that prototypes do not dominate but that it is a commercial product that can be purchased by operators and boaters”.

There is a need for a development policy that allows young people to find new jobs, new professions, new quality of ecoming, and this is done only through experience and a great knowledge of the area. Tonight we are rewarding five people who have distinguished themselves for their personal battle in order to do many things, from safeguarding the environment to knowledge through a. educational commitment in schools. We reward those who are committed to ensuring that the new generations understand the fragility of the lagoon, but then through sport they profess that belief in the new generations”.

Also present was Giovanni Acampora, President of Assonautica Italiana, who collaborates closely with Venice.

“The Boat Show, now in its fifth edition, is characterized precisely because it is a city that is at the same time fragile with great resilience, but projected towards the future. I believe that in this exceptional setting, for what the maritime nature of Venice has done in history, this is the ideal series to chart these new horizons.”
