SUM LOMBARDO – Desperate times call for desperate measures: “Everyone knows who is responsible. The only solution now is a I hope that forces these people to stay away from Somma Lombardo». The minority councilor Alberto Nervo (SommaSì) takes drastic measures, “fed up” with the wave of thefts that are putting the businesses of traders in the city to the test.
The appeal to the Municipality
Nervo returns to the charge. He does so after the recent position taken by Manuela Scidurlo (Brothers of Italy), who spoke on the topic of safety and degradation in the city to ask for immediate interventions. Same objective for Nervo, who goes to the hard way: «I, personally, am really angry and disappointed. Where is the administration? It doesn’t make a good impression on traders, who are praised for events and demonstrations. But now that they must be protected?”. The message is then addressed to the mayor Stefano Bellaria: «As a safety manager he should take action», continues Nervo. «The people are exasperated, the traders can’t take it anymore and it’s not fair that they have to sleep in their shops because they are afraid that something might happen. Now stop».

If at the beginning Nervo was thinking of a comparison with the prefect Salvatore Pasquariello to find a solution, the former Northern League member now asks to go further and «give these people a warning: away from Somma, away from the province of Varese. They are faces known to the police, who are trying to solve it as best they can. But if no conclusion is reached, the Municipality can intervene through its lawyers and make sure that unwanted people are removed».
