Civitanova Marche, 18 June 2024 – Another heist in the tobacconist, this time it was the one located along the Adriatica state road. Hundreds of cigarette packs stolen.
The tobacco shop ended up in the crosshairs the other night Gobbi on the way Christopher Columbusin the neighborhood of Fontespina, along the state road. According to what was reconstructed by the police officers, the other night between 4 and 4.30 two men, with their faces covered, went to work.
They have cut the railing which overlooks a window at the back of the tobacconist’s via Colombo, and passing through it they managed to break into the premises. Once inside they grabbed hundreds of packs of cigarettes but, in the meantime, the alarm went off. The criminals took as many packages as possible and, in the end, ran away, perhaps helped by an accomplice outside waiting for them. TO call the police he was the owner of the tobacco shop, thanks to the alarm system. But when the police officers arrived on the scene, there was no longer a trace of the criminals.
The loot that i.e. is still being quantified thieves they managed to take away from the tobacconist: it would, however, amount to around 5 thousand euros. Police investigations are underway to identify the criminals. The footage from the video surveillance cameras installed in the area is being examined by investigators Fontespina and near the tobacconist, which may have immortalized elements useful to the investigations.
This is yet another tobacco shop robbery that has taken place in recent weeks. On the night between 3 and 4 June, unknown persons targeted the Spurio tobacconist on the way Corridors, in Civitanova Alta, tramway area. According to a first reconstruction of what happened, a man with his face covered by a hood, arriving in a van, forced the external shutter, cutting the mesh, then shattered the glass door of the entrance door of the business which it is located under the porch. Once inside the tobacco shop, he grabbed it hundreds of packs of cigarettes. A few weeks earlier, two thefts had occurred, one after the other, in a tobacco shop in Corso Vittorio Emanuelein the center, a stone’s throw from Piazza XX Settembre. Even on that occasion, hundreds of cigarette packs had been made to disappear.
