Moretti Institute, redevelopment works – Teramo

ROSE GARDEN. Four extraordinary maintenance interventions will start in the next few days on the structures of the Moretti technical institute and professional institute in Roseto. The works will be possible thanks to 800 thousand euros of Pnrr funds and a further 187 thousand euros made available by the Province. «From the new school year, the tensile structure that houses the gym, damaged and closed for six years, in which we have invested 35 thousand euros”. The President of the Province Camillo D’Angelowho went to the construction site for an inspection, met the Moretti school director Daniela Maranella. «I thank the Province», underlined the principal, «for all the interventions planned in our institute, which we have been waiting for for several years. The tensile structure will finally be usable for our students and, through agreements, it can also be made available to sports associations that request it.”
The 800 thousand euros of Pnrr funds will instead be used for the energy efficiency of the technical institute (solar panels, new windows and interventions on the roof of the school), and the renovation of the caretaker’s accommodation with 140 thousand euros is also planned, where the offices will go of the secretariat, and the maintenance of Ipsia with 12 thousand euros. «I am particularly happy to have kept the promises made when I took office. Just over a year has passed and words are turning into facts and actions”, declared D’Angelo in this regard, “after years of indifference and inaction, this school has finally received the right attention and the planned renovation is the demonstration”.
