PESARO – Three days of Ecofest to bring care for the environment to the center of attention in the Italian Capital of Culture 2024: Pesaro. From Romagna to Marche, the experience of Oikos, a Gatteo Mare company that deals with ecological paints and which last March celebrated 50 years of activity, arrives at the Oasi del San Bartolo Foundation, supporting a program of actions linked to the protection of the environment and a way of life compatible with nature.
Highlight event of this journey, Friday 21 June, will be “From Dusk to Dawn”, a whole night of events on Monte San Bartolo with the possibility of spending the night in a sleeping bag or tent (reservation required) attending musical and artistic performances.
“In 2021 we created the Oasi Foundation precisely to promote environmental culture – explains Claudio Balestri, president of Oikos Spa – In addition to the Ecofest initiatives that we have been repeating for some years now, we have planned events throughout the summer and in particular, every Tuesday and Thursday we have cultural programs linked to music, respect for the environment and well-being in collaboration with the associations of territory”.
The Oasis founded by the Romagna entrepreneur Balestri is the acronym for Organization for the Environment, Sustainability, Social Innovation, and is a sort of paradise of Mediterranean biodiversity: 250,000 m2 of territory from which you can enjoy a unique panorama of the Adriatic coast in context of the San Bartolo Riviera and within the Natural Park on the promontory overlooking Vallugola Bay, the historic Greek-Roman port. The Oasi Foundation is open to the public and associations and its mission is precisely to promote the protection of the environment, biodiversity and the culture of well-being in partnership with non-profit associations and citizens.
The Ecofest 2024 Program.
From 7.30pm on Friday 21 June and until 8.30am on the following Saturday there will be: the Book Talk “Scrivere di Natura”, the music with Evergreen Ballads by the Joe Castellani Acoustic Trio, to continue with the night vision of the planets with the Amateur astronomers from Pesaro. From midnight you can eat pizza cooked in the Forno Antico inside the Park and then the music “Silent Music” Disco Diva Silenziosa (on the lawns, in silence respecting nature and fauna. Late at night, (3 hours :30) The music of the Night “Arpeggi e Sussurri” with Chiara Magrini and Lucia Giommi, while at 4.30 the “music of the forest and the stars”; the Concert at dawn at 05.30 “Via Trio” by Korean entertainment company will lead those present towards the “Breakfast at the Ancient Oven” scheduled for 06:30.
On Saturday 22nd June and Sunday 23rd the Ecofest days will continue with the following calendar of events: “Culture in Nature, Stories, Art and Music”, activities with children organized by Legambiente and at 7.30pm meetings on “Culture in Nature” with Giancarlo Messina, Cleofe Bucchi, Elena Forte (Sagitta Arco) and Stefano Vannini (Portrait Artist). At 9.15pm the Sunset PicNic will be held with the collaboration of Alimentari Magrini while at 9.30pm there will be Music in Nature with Chiara Magrini and Lucia Giommi, until 11.30pm.
