Eighth edition upon us for “Pitei’n noir”, the now traditional literary review, organized by the ProLoco of Pitelli, which intends to propose a journey of crime readings making use of the contribution of authors who have told the story of the La Spezia area, its geography and its history. These are the events scheduled in the church square:
Friday 28 June SUSANA RAULE – “MINERVA IN FLAMES” Ed. Mondadori
Friday 5 July BEPPE MECCONI – “GIALLO COME IL GOLFO” collection of 12 stories by Ed Gammarò (with the presence of the 12 writers)
Friday 12 July MARIA GRAZIA INNOCENTI – “THE WEIGHT OF DECEPTION” Ed. FBA Publisher (moderated by Marco Della Croce)
“In the largest village in the municipality of La Spezia, where every year in summer the most beautiful and characteristic festival of the entire gulf is held – Pitèi’n cellar –, was born a few years ago Pitèi’n noira literary review dedicated to the novels included in the expanded definition of crime, which includes detective stories, thrillers and, indeed, noirs – writes Corrado Pelagotti when presenting the event -. Given the ever-growing interest in this type of literature, it is strange to believe that, to date, this event is still the only one of its kind in the entire province. In recent years, authoritative authors have participated, both local and from other Italian cities. Each edition has been characterized by an exquisite welcome and, in particular, by extensive public participation.” From ProLoco, special thanks go to Simone Ravani, graphic designer and creator of the poster: a Pitelle native who works abroad, he always manages to find time for his home town.
