Another important gesture of solidarity towards the Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry of the Infermi Hospital of Rimini, to which the Nuovi Sguardi Onlus association and the Rimini Rotary Club donated a BeneVision TM80 system.

Welcoming the delegation composed of the president of the Nuovi Sguardi Association, Fabio Scala, and Vittoria Rossella Alaimo and for the Rimini Rotary Club by Patrizia Farfaneti Ghetti, president of the Projects Commission, and Attilio Gardini, president of the club, were Francesca Raggi, medical director of the hospital unit, Roberta Rosetti, director of the Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry Operational Unit, and Cinzia Giulianelli, head of the Rimini Hospital Child Neuropsychiatry structure, as well as a representation of the department staff, who “heartfelt thanks for this important donation which consolidates a collaborative relationship that has already existed for some time, supporting the needs of local healthcare in an increasingly attentive and sensitive way”.

“The donated system is useful for multiparametric monitoring – explains Dr. Giulianelli – and is a smart telemetric patient monitor that provides accurate and uninterrupted measurements of electrocardiogram (ECG), respiration, circulatory indices in real time which allows the patient not to necessarily remain to bed. The system features a rotatable screen and displays a longer ECG trace in landscape mode and more vital signs in portrait mode, making patient information easily available to providers. The parameters are necessary in cases of serious deterioration, for example in eating disorders or when more intensive monitoring of the parameters during therapy titration is useful and appropriate”.

“Thanks to the generosity of the Nuovi Sguardi Association and the Rotary Club of Rimini, which have supported neuropsychiatry for years with various solidarity initiatives, the Infermi Hospital now also has this important monitoring system available which will further facilitate the full implementation of assistance activities , while improving the patient’s quality of life”, underlined Francesca Raggi.
