After months of cultural initiatives and now in its sixth edition, Marche Pride will return to color the streets of Ancona on Saturday 22 June 2024.
The meeting point will begin at 4pm under the War Memorial / Passetto and will leave at approximately 4.45pm.
The procession will wind through the streets of Ancona to reach Piazza Cavour where the afternoon will end between performances and interventions by the Associations.
Like every year, Marche Pride illustrates in its manifesto the reasons that push thousands of people to take to the streets to express their dissent against an increasingly repressive policy in numerous respects.
There are also numerous associations, groups and municipalities that have chosen to join the event this year too.
The entire initiative takes into account aspects related to accessibility;
for this reason the entire route guarantees full accessibility to people with mobility difficulties, there are also decompression spaces, provision of noise-reducing earplugs and LIS interpreting.

Marche Pride also indicates, through an interactive map available on the website in the “How to participate – service points and accessibility” section, the most useful car parks and service points such as accessible bathrooms, drinking fountains and recycling bins.
The initiative will also see the participation of Ancona Checkpoint for the administration of anonymous and free tests for various STIs (HIV, HCV, Syphilis).
