the new place to be in Pesaro

The first rooftop cocktail bar where you can have an aperitif, dine and dance overlooking the sea.

The spring/summer season opens with great news for the 2024 Capital of Culture: the inauguration of ROOF 281, the only rooftop cocktail bar in Pesaro. A space for events, dinners and aperitifs, located on the 6th floor of the Charlie Urban Hotel, a modern and cosmopolitan location, with a breathtaking view of the sea.

A new reality for Pesaro, with an international footprint that represents an important and innovative lever for the territory, especially this year in which Pesaro is the Capital of Italian Culture.

Originality and internationality are the words that inspired the creation of this unconventional place; upon entering ROOF 281 you have the sensation of being catapulted into the great cities of music: London, Berlin and New York. Music itself is the protagonist of the venue, thanks to both the digital and analog console for DJs and live sets that will accompany the private evenings recorded by customers.

A dense program of events organized ad hoc will involve national and international artists, as well as the many artists of Pesaro, giving space to every form and expression of art. In the coming months, a web radio will also be created where you can do interviews, listen to music, and look for interconnections with similar realities in Paris, Berlin, Rome, Milan and London.

Absolutely pop and modern, the design of the venue expertly mixes objects by Seletti, an Italian company where figurative design and Pop Art meet, in particular through the elements of the Toiletpaper collection born from the collaboration between Maurizio Cattelan, Pierpaolo Ferrari and Seletti. Objects of great impact that blend with everyday icons and natural and floral elements.

The gastronomic offer is curated by Stefano Ciotti’s new company “Stellato” whose aim is to offer “haute cuisine for the aperitif”. Stefano Ciotti, already a Michelin starred chef, studies and proposes a restaurant offer for ROOF 281 made up of small creative dishes perfect not only for dinner but also to be combined with an aperitif. Every week, the dinner menu will also include a first course made with fresh homemade pasta and typical local fish-based sauces.

ROOF 281 is open every evening from Monday to Thursday from 6pm to midnight, and on Fridays and Saturdays until 2am. Closed on Sunday evening.
