The summer offensive of CENTOPERCENTOANIMALISTI began on Sunday 16 June in defense of free animals, primarily bears and wolves, threatened with extermination in Trentino.
The militants of the Movement descended the Adige in a dinghy, passing through the center of Verona, displaying a banner of denunciation: the aim is to make known the policy of the provincial government of Trento which insists on the criminalization of Animals and in the search for any pretext for cut them down: in this they follow the desires of hunters, speculators, breeders, in short, the most backward part of the Trentino population.
While they hypocritically flaunt images of forests and mountains, presenting themselves as an ecological Eden. The reality is very different: the banner in English, aimed mainly at foreign tourists, and the choice of internationally famous locations (as in the recent biitz), have precisely the aim of unmasking the politicians who talk about Nature but in reality they kill.
Our militants stopped at the bridges, the people who noticed the protest expressed full solidarity.
