FOOTBALL: Cesena and Ravenna restart with withdrawals from Acquapartita

The Turk and Superbike leader Toprak Razgatlioglu is a cannibal in Misano and takes all three victories in the challenges held on Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, the renewal of the circuit in the world championship calendar until 2029 has been made official. It was a weekend worth remembering for the “World Circuit Marco Simoncelli” in Misano Adriatico. The Superbike stopped in Romagna for the fourth round of the season and, also thanks to the summer weather, there were 75,688 spectators in the stands in the three opening days. Toprak Razgatlioglu dominated in the senior class and has reached 179 points at the top of the table. The BMW Turk achieved successes in the two races and also in the Superpole Race. Ducati’s Emilia-Romagna native Nicolò Bulega, who had led for a few laps in Race 2, had to settle for three second places. The Ducati rider’s gap from the top is 21 points, followed by the reigning champion and teammate Bautista, three points behind. However, the Borgo Panigale team can celebrate the double scored by the Spaniard Adrian Huertas in Supersport. In the 300, however, the challenge on Saturday went to Iglesias Bravo, while on Sunday the Indonesian Aldi Satya Mahendra climbed to the top of the podium. Great curiosity but also some thrills were reserved for the women’s world championship, in its seasonal debut. In race 1, the Norwegian driver Mia Rusthen was involved in a hard accident just before halfway through the race and the challenge was interrupted by the red flag. The pilot was transported to the Bufalini hospital in Cesena for clinical checks. When the contests resumed, the triumph went to Maria Herrera, who was also able to achieve success in the second race. The curtain then falls on the Romagna round, with the certainty that the Superbike World Championship will continue to make a stop there until 2029 thanks to the renewal of the agreement for another five years.
