TUESDAY 23 JULY THE CURTAIN WILL OPEN ON THE TWENTY-FIFTH EDITION OF “SANT’ELPIDIO JAZZ FESTIVAL”

Anticipation is growing for the twenty-fifth edition of Sant’Elpidio Jazz Festivalhistoric review of the circuit Brand Jazz which will take place in Sant’Elpidio a Mareorganized byDepartment of Culture and by the association AMAT in collaboration with Syntonia Jazzfor the artistic direction of Alessandro Andolfi. The concerts that will be held at are of great quality 9.15pmmainly in Piazza Matteotti. The spotlights will come on Tuesday 23 July with John Scofield & Dave Holland Duo, a formation composed of the American guitarist and the English double bass player who represent two iconic figures of modern jazz. The 29 it will be the turn of João Bosco Quartetprestigious training directed by João Bosco (vocals and guitar) and completed by Ricardo Silveira (guitar), Guto Wirtti (low) e Kiko Freitas (drums), concert opened by Mafalda Minnozzi – Paul Ricci Duo, a well-known thirty-year partnership that unites the singer and the Italian-American guitarist. We will continue Thursday 1st August with Francesca Tandoi Trio Feat. Eleonora Strinosparkling band formed by Francesca Tandoi (piano), Stefano Senni (contrabass), Giovanni Campanella (battery) and the host Eleonora Strino (guitar).

On the following evening Friday 2 Auguston the 25th of the SANTELPIDIOJAZZFESTIVAL in collaboration with the ELPIDIENSE ORGANIST ACCADEMIA in the 50th year of activity, an exceptional duo arrives: Paolo Fresu & Glauco Venier.

The internationally renowned trumpeter and flugelhorn player and the excellent pianist, on this occasion on the Callido organ, will perform at the Church Perinsigne Collegiate and will present music from the classical jazz and contemporary repertoire.

The 4 it will be up to Frida Bollani Magoni & Albert Eno, a duo that merges the pure talent of the very young Frida Bollani Magoni (voice and piano) with the versatility and experience of Albert Eno (voice and guitar). The 6 will be the protagonist Stefano Di Battista Quintet – La Dolce Vitaa group directed by one of the most well-known Italian jazz saxophonists internationally and completed by Matteo Cutello (trumpet), Andrea Rea (piano), Daniele Sorrentino (double bass) e Luigi Del Prete (drums). While the 7 will go on stage Theo Croker Quartetan international training consisting of Theo Croker (trumpet), Mike King (piano and keyboards), Eric Wheeler (double bass) e Jaylen Petinaud (drums). Thursday 1st Augustthe masterclass directed by Eleonora Strino to the Cicconi Theatre, Friday 2 August at 6.30pmin Piazza Matteotti, City Band of Sant’Elpidio a Mare Special Guest Paolo Fresu. 2, 3, 4 And 8 at 6.30pmin Gramsci Square, Sant’Elpidio Jazz Quartet and the pianist’s masterclass Ramberto Ciammarughi to the Cicconi Theatre. To conclude, the August 14th at 6pmto the Caccamo Lake (Archaeological Park of Pieve Favera Area 51E1/2) in the BRAND JAZZ sector in collaboration with the Unione Montana dei Monti Azzurri and Tolentino jazz, creator and organizer of the BORGHI IN JAZZ festival, Swing De Niglo Quartet and at 9pma refined duo with protagonists Ramberto Ciammarughi (piano) e Daniele Di Bonaventura (bandoneon), for the project entitled I’ll tell you a story.
