The Productive Activities Service has set among its objectives that of improving citizens’ satisfaction with the services offered.

In implementation of the directives of the Department of Civil Service and the regulations in the field of Public Administration, the measurement of perceived quality, known as “Customer satisfaction”, which presupposes the involvement real of citizens.

For a Public Administration, customer satisfaction measurement can respond to the following purposes:

  • detect the degree of citizen satisfaction with the services offered;
  • detect general and specific needs, needs and expectations of different targets and groups of citizens;
  • encourage the emergence of latent needs and listening to “weak” or more poorly valued citizens in the general provision of services;
  • collect ideas and suggestions and promote participation;
    verify the effectiveness of the policies;
  • strengthen the level of communication, dialogue and citizens’ trust in public administrations.

Measuring the quality of services is a fundamental and strategic function for public administrations.

For this purpose, a simple questionnaire was designed to measure satisfaction with the service offered, which is ideally placed as a starting point for subsequent customer satisfaction actions, oriented towards listening to users and aimed at constant improvement of services.

The field of investigation identified is that relating to the administrative procedures under the responsibility of the Productive Activities Service and, in particular, those which pass through the One-Stop Shop for Productive Activities (SUAP) and the One-Stop Shop for Public Land Occupations (SUOCC).
