The billboard of‘ ROMAN AMPHITHEATER– the big news for the Ancona summer 2024– is inaugurated Friday 21st and, following, Saturday 22 June, with Popsophia appointmentswhich will propose the first edition of ANKONEIDE, promoted by the Municipality of Ancona and the Marche Region.
The calendar includes two philoshows of philosophy and music to celebrate the symbolic date of the beginning of summer:
FRIDAY 21 JUNE on stage “Philosophy of the Solstice”, a show that tells with music, films, TV series, with literature and philosophy because today we still turn our eyes to the sky. Conceived and directed by Lucrezia Ercoli with the participation of Simone Regazzoni. At sunset on the longest day of the year we celebrate the beginning of summer, with a very rich musical repertoire on the theme of the sun and the sea, from Paolo Conte’s “Onda suonda” to the Beatles’ “Here comes the sun”.
SATURDAY 22 JUNE by popular demand, “Noise, philosophy of Raffaella Carrà”. The protagonist will be the great and innovative showwoman, a myth who has marked international pop culture and who continues to move bodies and thoughts. From the approach to the body, to the destruction of taboos, Lucrezia Ercoli and Ilaria Gaspari will attempt to open new ways to understanding the Raffaella Carrà phenomenon, following the rhythm of her most famous songs.
As with previous Popsophia performances the IENTRY to the two evenings will be FREE, with RESERVATIONS MANDATORY FROM MONDAY 17 JUNE at 2.00 pm on the website www.popsophia.com
SERVICE NOTE: On the homepage of the Poposophia website, interested parties will already find the presentation of the 2 events but only from the click-day – Monday 17 June, 2 pm – will the “BOOK” button appear, which will take you back to the EVENTBRITE platform through the which it is possible to reserve up to 2 places each, with confirmation email. The capacity of the Amphitheater is far greater than the Auditorium of the Mole, used previously, therefore we hope to accommodate the largest possible number of people.
In case of impossibility to participate, the accredited public is invited to cancel in good time by sending an email to [email protected] which will inform interested parties on the waiting list. In case of bad weather the 2 shows will be moved to spaces that will be communicated later.
