“Amazing feat” by the team Legnano Basketball Under17 driven by coach Tamborini and Mazzocca who, on Sunday 17 June in the national finals in Rimini, won the title UISP Under17. The red and white team won all the matches of the national finals, deservedly achieving this success.
«It is the worthy conclusion of a great year – commented coach Paolo Tamborini with satisfaction –. We finished seventh in the FIP Gold Lombardia championship and in the UISP championship we won 31 games out of 32, obtaining second place in the Lombardy finals and now, as the icing on the cake, first place in the national finals. We played many matches in just a few days in these finals but the team responded great, everyone gave their contribution to this beautiful undertaking. I thank all the boys, my assistant coach Daniele Mazzocca, the athletic trainer Matteo Scala, the managers Claudio Cozzi and Stefano Baglioni as well as the parents of this magnificent group.”
