Versus protagonist in Turin
Turin – Gold and Silver for the athlete from Legnano Otman Fouzi in MMA and grappling. Versus Legnano, in the last stage of the MMA Italy National Championship, held in Turin, the oldest in Italy (this year it was in its twentieth edition) in MMA and grappling becomes the protagonist.
Otman Fouzi in fact he medaled in both of these disciplines. More precisely he won in MMA Light – 73,500 kg senior while in grappling – 77 kg senior (which is the weight category higher than his) he only surrendered in the final against the instructor of another team who had many more races behind him of Otman who was only in his second experience as a competitor.
“We are particularly satisfied with his test – his teacher Guido Colombo tells us – also because due to work problems in the last few weeks he had not been able to train in the gym but had only done athletic preparation at home. We had decided to let him compete anyway, partly to reward his great passion and partly to gain some experience that would be useful in the next season. His performance therefore pleasantly surprised us and confirmed his great potential. Now we are more certain than ever that, if he manages to reconcile training and work, next year he will be able to obtain excellent results”.
