Short-term rentals – the experimental phase begins in Veneto

The Ministry of Tourism continues with the experimental phase of the National database of accommodation facilities and properties intended for short-term rental or for tourism purposes (BDSR) and after the launch with the Puglia Region, it also makes the platform available for the structures and locations of the Veneto region. Subsequently, on the Ministry’s website, news will be given of the activation of the service for the other Regions and Autonomous Provinces, until it progressively reaches the entire national territory.

The Ministry reminds you that through the platform it is it is possible to request the National Identification Code (CIN), to be used for the publication of advertisements and for display outside the structures and buildings, pursuant to art. 13-ter of Legislative Decree 145/2023 by carrying out access via digital identitythe owners view the data relating to the structures linked to their Fiscal Code, integrate the missing information, report any changes and obtain the CIN.

In the experimental start-up phase there are no sanctions and citizens who wish to do so are allowed to comply with the obligations related to the identification code well in advance.

The obligations, sanctions and other provisions contained in the art. 13-ter of Legislative Decree 145/2023they will be applicable only starting from the sixtieth day following publication in the Official Journal, scheduled no later than 1 September 2024of the Notice certifying the entry into operation of the BDSR on a national scale.
