Black day for travelers who have chosen to travel by train: the strike of Trenitalia, Trenitalia Tper and Trenord staff called by the trade union organizations Uiltrasporti and Orsa began at 3am last night and will continue until 2am on Monday 17 June, which is causing considerable inconvenience especially because Sunday is a public holiday and therefore today there are no guarantee bands within which the movement of trains is ensured.
As already communicated in recent days on the Trenord website, the unrest is having “repercussions on regional, suburban, airport and long-distance services”: many of the trains scheduled for today have been canceled and those in service are traveling with delays ranging from 60 to 80 minutes.
Only in the case of cancellation of airport service trains, buses without intermediate stops are established between Milan Cadorna and Malpensa airport for the Malpensa Express and between Stabio and Malpensa airport for the S50 Malpensa airport – Stabio airport connection.
