The Turin coach will arrive in the Apulian capital on Monday and in the evening he should officially become the coach of the red and whites for the 2024/2025 season. The two-year option suggests the club’s conviction of president Luigi De Laurentiis to start a journey with the Piedmontese coach.
Moreno Longo, born in Turin in 1976, trained as a coach in the Granata youth team, before his experiences at Pro Vercelli, at Frosinone, where he achieved promotion to Serie A, at Alessandria (a promotion to B and a relegation to C) and then in Como, a club from which he was sacked last season when the Como team were at the top of the table. A bitter pill to swallow, which Longo will want to redeem.
