On the occasion of the next edition of the Onda Foundation’s Women’s Prevention Open Day, which will be held on Wednesday 19 June, AOUI Verona promotes free initiatives with the aim of preserving women’s health. At the Borgo Trento hospital, the Dermatology UOC offers visits on the prevention of skin diseases, the Obstetrics and Gynecology UOC carries out gynecological visits and ultrasounds with informative interviews and the Radiology UOC carries out specialist visits with breast ultrasound.
Particular attention will be paid to mental health with psychological consultations and psychiatric interviews, including online, carried out by the Usd of Clinical Psychology of Borgo Trento and Borgo Roma and by the Uoc of Psychiatry B.
The objective of the day is to raise awareness among the female population of correct primary and secondary prevention in all phases of life, in relation to the hormonal changes that accompany them.
Since 2007, the Onda Foundation has awarded hospitals that provide services dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the main female pathologies the recognition of the Pink Sticker; the AOUI of Verona has three, the maximum attributable.
