A moment of grace for the Piacenza Baseball youth team. Last weekend only victories: Saturday double success for the Under 8 minibaseball team against Oltretorrente Parma (14-9 and 15-12), while on Sunday another beautiful comeback victory for the Under 14 team at home against Sala Baganza (10-9). Down 8-5 at the end of the 5th inning, the Piacenza team turned everything around in the 6th with a 5-point attack. This is the team lined up: Rosario, Agosti, Desjardins, Achilli, Pardi, Pirtle, Bertonazzi E., Mendoza C., Ferrari, Reinoso, Bertolotti.
Then on Wednesday there is the expected clash at De Benedetti against Collecchio for the Under 18 (play-ball at 18). For the red and whites it is going to be a month of fire, decisive in chasing the victory in the group. The standings see four teams in four points, with Piacenza at the top. There are still four matches to play and all direct clashes: Piacenza will have to deal twice with Collecchio, third, with Sala Baganza, also third, and with Poviglio, second. Four weeks of do or die, absolutely decisive; the hope is that the red and whites, in the lead since the first day, do not waste everything on the home straight.
