Excellent knowledge of the Serie A2 championship and a lot of intensity: Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro will have in its roster in 2024/2025 Danilo Petrovic. Serbian power forward born in 1999 with an Italian background, 203 cm tall and weighing 91 kg, ‘4’ capable of playing with his back to the basket, with a great three-point shot. A tough defender, he complements well with Eric Lombardi in the ‘4’ commercial.

The carreer
Danilo’s professional career began in 2015 in Italy, after four years spent in the youth sector of Virtus Bologna: he faced the A2 with the black and whites, remaining there until 2017 and winning the Coppa Italia LNP. In 2017/2018 he took the field in Serie B wearing the Ortona jersey, then in 2018 he returned to the second series accepting the offer of Poderosa Montegranaro. In the summer of 2019 he moved to Forlì while in the following season he defended the colors of Tramec Cento, traveling at an average of 25 minutes per match and 10.9 points. 2021/2022 saw him again in Emilia, but this time in Ferrara. In 2022/2023 he returned to Romagna to take the field wearing the Ravenna jersey. In 2023/2024 in Rieti he finished the regular season in third place in the standings, then playing two rounds of promotion playoffs. He boasts a gold medal won in 2017 in Slovakia with the Serbian national team at the European Under 18 Championships.
