Foggia. On the morning of 16 June 2024, operators of the Local Police Force of Foggia in SAD configuration conducted a series of checks in the area of the city cemetery. During these operations, precisely in via Sprecacenere at the entrance to the side cemetery, the presence of an illegal parking attendant was identified. Pursuant to Article 7/15bis of the Highway Code, the individual was sanctioned and served with an Order to stay away from the area for 48 hours, in accordance with the provisions of Law 48/2017 (Daspo Urbano).
Furthermore, again along via Sprecacenere, near the SS/673 road which leads to the municipal cemetery, the officers found a woman engaged in the occupation of public land using a chair to carry out prostitution activities. The woman was sanctioned in accordance with the provisions of article 20, paragraphs 1 and 4, relating to the occupation of public land, and she was given an order to stay away from the area for 48 hours, as required by Law 48/2017 (Daspo Urbano). Following further checks, the local police operators found that the woman had not complied with the removal order, therefore proceeding with the imposition of the sanction for repeat offenses.
