Palermo has been working for a few days to strengthen their squad in view of the next Serie B season. The management of the Sicilian club is studying the first moves of the transfer market (which officially opens on July 1st) to develop a strategy with the in order to deliver a team ready to Mr. Dionisi starting from the upcoming training camp (from 7 July in Livigno).
The name that has emerged insistently in the last few hours is that of Luca Mazzitelli from Frosinone. Fresh from relegation to Serie B with the Ciociari, the midfielder has ended up in the sights of the Rosanero team (although it will be necessary to understand the intentions of the yellow and blue club for his future). Dionisi, however, should also evaluate the returns from loans of Damiani and Saric for the midfield of his team, while he awaits the renewal of Segre’s contract.
As regards the offensive department, however, the name at the top of the preferences of sporting director De Sanctis and the CFG consultant Bigon is that of Sebastian Esposito. Furthermore, if the sale of Matteo Brunori were to materialize (he would have some requests in Serie A), Palermo could evaluate the arrival in the rosanero of Maximum Tailexpert striker for Serie B.
Evaluations, surveys, ideas: the management of the Viale del Fante club is working well in advance to achieve important objectives in the next cadet championship. Already having a strong frame in view of the pre-season training camp could be an advantage that should not be underestimated.
