THERE IS A QUEUE IN ABRUZZO. Casertana is looking for a location for its summer retreat. Some alternatives are already ready

Abruzzo is particularly crowded with the 2024 summer retreats. It starts with the Salernitana which will be in Rivisondoli from 7 to 21 July. Then Bari at Roccaraso from 10th to 24th. Pescara at Palena from 13th to 27th. And again Cavese at Rivisondoli from 22nd to 8th August without forgetting Napoli at Castel di Sangro from 25th July to 8th August (officially but then the withdrawal will end early due to the debut in the Italian Cup). Therefore on these dates there will be no space for Casertana between Roccaraso and Rivisondoli, the usual location for pre-season preparation. And the hawks of new coach Manuel Iori are already looking for alternatives. To stay in lower Abruzzo there is Alfedena or Pescocostanzo available (which in the past has already hosted C clubs such as Juve Stabia). In the area (Molise) the most popular destination is Capracotta but Juve Stabia is already there, in Abruzzo instead Campo di Giove (Aquila) is available which in any case is already further away than the Sangrino area. The desire is not to move too far from Abruzzo, thus allowing fans and managers to follow the entire preparatory phase more closely. More will be known this week.
