Last Friday 7 June, the annual Spring Festival organized by the College of Surveyors of Alessandria was held at the Tenuta Montebello in Rocca Grimalda.
The event saw the surveyors engaged in a training seminar on cadastral procedures relating to properties registered in the special and particular categories. Then the award ceremony for surveyors enrolled in the college for 40, 50 and 60 years.
In the afternoon the awards ceremony competition organized by the College of Surveyorsaimed at middle school students, by title “We help surveyors do green construction”.
1st and 3rd prize were assigned to the Giovanni Pascoli secondary school in Valenza, with the projects’Green shading’ And ‘Let’s think about it, as well as an award for the best presentation of the bioclimatic greenhouse-classroom project.
2nd prize was assigned to the G. Pascoli comprehensive institute in Solero with the project ‘A space for everyone.
Award for Best Video and Best Idea to be developed atS. Pertini comprehensive institute in Ovada.
Award for the best graphic work to the IPaolo and Rita Borsellino comprehensive school of S. Salvatore Monferrato.
Award for best model toCarducci-Vochieri comprehensive institute in Alessandria.
Award for the best innovative idea at the S. Giuseppe secondary school in Tortona.
The appeal
President geom. Quill explained the intent of the competition is provoke pupils’ interest in the surveyor’s activity, trying to encourage registrations to institutes for surveyors: “Unfortunately, the school reform has replaced the name GEOMETRA with the unfortunate acronym CAT (construction, environment and territory) and has significantly undermined the visibility of this school path which, however, remains one of the most current and necessary training courses in the panorama of professions”.
