Also the mayor of Monreale, Alberto Arcidiacono, at the Sicily Fashion Week organized by Confartigianato Sicilia. Yesterday morning, the mayor visited the 19 Sicilian companies who met the foreign buyers hosted in the Guglielmo II complex. A final morning dedicated to the commercial aspect of the event, with the possibility of matching supply and demand, looking more concretely at the foreign market.
During the morning there will also be two workshops, the first dedicated to “Ethical and sustainable fashion”, with the intervention of Giliola Maule, president of Csm-Camera Showroom Milano, and the participation of students from the Academy of Fine Arts. The second, “The Buyer, profile and importance in the world of fashion”, with Mauro Galligari, communications director of Camera Show Room Milano.
Mayor Arcidiacono is enthusiastic for having included Monreale among the scenarios of Sicily Fashion Week. “A big thank you to Confartigianato for choosing Monreale in the organization of this splendid event which gives Sicily back a leading role – said the mayor – and which allows us to raise awareness of the territorial production realities and the economic fabric not only of our territory , but of those who choose our land to present themselves to the citizens.
