Presentation of company deed Aou Dulbecco Catanzaro, Si Cobas: us excluded

Si Cobas Calabria wants to bring to attention what happened on June 13th. “during the presentation of the company deed by the Extraordinary Commissioner of the Aou Renato Dulbecco, Simona Carbone.

Our dispute – writes the union – concerns the exclusion from the meeting of our Trade Union Organization, as well as of the OS USB on the grounds of not being representative and therefore signatories of the contract.

Apart from the fact that not being a contract signatory does not entail exclusion from the presentation of a company management document, taking into account that it is not necessary to sign or endorse contracts on this specific occasion, but as regards representativeness, no one has the right to discriminate even a single worker associated with any trade union, demonstrating hatred and discrimination that can be configured and summarized as anti-union behaviour.

A truly sad moment represented by Commissioner Carbone who obliges the undersigned and in our opinion would also oblige the Calabria Region at least for institutional opportunity, an adequate response to the Commissioner in question.

This is the failure to respect first of all constitutional principles and secondly the principles established by Law 300 of 1970 (Workers’ Statute).

The act of management direction of an organization such as Dulbecco must necessarily pass through discussion and information aimed at all the actors of the territory since, otherwise, we should also expect the exclusion of more or less representative mayors if Carbone focuses on representativeness understood as a percentage of citizens represented.

Denying SICOBAS and USB to attend the presentation of the proposed Company Act represented a sad moment for the entire community but also for the Representatives of the Regional Health Service.

In light of the above, we ask for a formal apology from the Extraordinary Commissioner Simona Carbone for the offense caused to the citizens represented by the two trade unions, to the workers associated with SICOBAS and USB, as well as to the entire community for having also caused damage to the content of the hypothetical corporate act which would require the contribution of everyone, no one excluded.
