The strike in Trenitalia was proclaimed by the independent trade union National assembly pdm/pdb (engine crew and on-board crew).
The agitation will begin at 3am on Sunday 16th and will continue until 2am on Monday 17th June.
“The national strike may have repercussions on railway traffic and lead to possible total and partial cancellations of Frecce, Intercity, Trenitalia Regional and Trenitalia Tper trains,” Trenitalia explains in a note.
The company also points out that the effects, in terms of cancellations And delays“they may occur even before and continue beyond the end time of the strike”.
The company advises all passengers to inform themselves before going to the station and, where possible, to reschedule their journey.

The staff of the Trenord regional trains in Milan and Lombardy will also cross their arms in the same hours, after a stop proclaimed by Uiltrasporti and Orsa railways.

The regional unions of Filt Cgil, Fit Cisl, Uiltrasporti, Ugl Ferrovieri, Fast and Orsa have called a 23-hour agitation to “demand better working conditions” for Trenitalia Dbr Campania crew personnel.
