TERNI – More than 160 motorists checked by the police on the Terni-Orte junction tested negative for alcohol.

The data emerges from the outcome of the extraordinary control of the territory carried out there last night on the Terni-Orte connection.
The aim is to prevent and repress theft, drug trafficking and to keep those driving under the influence of alcohol or substances at bay.
The soldiers of the Terni Carabinieri Company they set up a checkpoint, diverting traffic within a service area and checking all cars coming from the southern part of the province and neighboring territories. 56 vehicles were subjected to careful inspection and 66 people were identified. There were two fines for violating the highway code while a woman was reported to the prefecture as a drug user because she was found in possession of 1.4 grams of cocaine. The woman’s driving license was revoked.
