Gottasecca: The road between Cuneese and Savona has been closed for works since 24 June

The Province announced it in recent days with a press release: the Scaletta Uzzone-Valle provincial road.

The road has been closed since June 24th for a month

It is an important change to the road system between the provinces of Cuneo and Savona that the Province announced in recent days on its social channels. “Starting from Monday 24 June and for about a month – they write – the Province will close a section of the provincial road 102 in Scaletta Uzzone-Valle, in the municipality of Gottasecca on the border with the province of Savona, to traffic for works”.

Alternative routes are planned

However, the Province has announced countermeasures to reduce the inconvenience. “This is an intervention for the safety of a stretch of road connecting the territories of the two provinces – they write from Cuneo – The works involve, in particular, the construction of a cantilevered slab supported on a reinforced concrete curb with foundations of the indirect type (micropiles) combined with the construction of an underslope and plating wall. To construct the deep foundations, it is necessary to close the road with the consequent need to divert vehicular traffic onto alternative routes which will be marked on site”.
