KASK CELEBRATES 20 YEARS IN DASTE BERGAMO

To celebrate two decades of KASK’s history, an entire weekend dedicated to the “worlds” where the Bergamo company operates successfully: cycling, snow, horse riding and safety at work. Numerous activities, meeting moments and a ride open to amateurs and experts are planned, all with free admission. On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June 2024, Daste Bergamo will welcome the public participating in the celebrations.

To celebrate twenty years of success, the Bergamo company founded by Angelo Gotti in 2004 is organizing two days of free initiatives and activities on the weekend of Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June. The Daste Bergamo facility will host the party, welcoming all KASK enthusiasts to celebrate the disciplines that make up the soul of the brand: cycling, skiing and snowboarding, horse riding and safety, i.e. safety at work. Outdoor activities dedicated to everyone, even the little ones, to explore, learn and have fun not only by playing but also by listening, thanks to the testimonies of athletes who have chosen KASK as an ally in competitions for years. And again, a 30 km ride open to all (registration required), music, food and drinks, and moments to experience sport together with the screening of the first stage of the Tour de France.

Numerous guests will participate in the talks scheduled on Saturday, to delve into anecdotes from their sporting careers. Talking about cycling between past and present will be Ivan Basso, two-time winner of the Giro d’Italia, and Rossella Dileo, Sports Director of Team Colpack. There will be no shortage of encounters with the world of snow thanks to the Olympic snowboarder Michela Moioli and the promising young alpine skier Lara Colturi. The world of equestrianism will also be present with the rider Roberto Previtali and the rider Giulia Stanga. Last, but certainly not least, the work & safety sector in which KASK has been a true game changer and the mountain guide and extreme mountaineer Marco Confortola will illustrate his experience.

For the occasion, KASK has set up an exhibition of helmets that represent the milestones in the brand’s history inside the Daste Bergamo premises. Cycling enthusiasts will touch the original helmets that have become co-protagonists of great sporting moments: from the innovative Bambino Pro Evo with which Filippo Ganna set the Hour Record, to the five-ring champion Bambino worn by Zanardi in London 2012. We will continue with the Protone with which Egan Bernal won the Giro d’Italia in 2021 and the Valegro model which was painted yellow for Geraint Thomas’ victory in the 2018 Tour de France. And again, Elemento, an example of balance between aerodynamics and ventilation that protected Elia Viviani in the fall at Paris-Roubaix, and Elemento, this time in rainbow colours, on the podium with the French Pauline Ferrand-Prevot at the 2023 mountain bike world championships.

KASK’s excellences are also great protagonists in the world of snow with Omega chosen by the American River Radamus in a customized version with vintage colors and graphics and the one used by Michela Moioli in the Carbon version, therefore lighter, never different from yellow (her lucky color). And finally, Khimera worn on the World Cup slopes by the young Lara Colturi under the careful guidance of her Olympic gold medal mother Daniela Ceccarelli.

Even in the world of equestrianism, Angelo Gotti’s helmets are riding the wave of success thanks to the trust of big names in show jumping. The world ranking leader Henrik Von Eckermann and the Italian talent Lorenzo De Luca, who continues to represent Italy in the best race fields, choose the Dogma model, customized specifically for them. In dressage, Olympic champion Charlotte Fry opts for the refined and lightweight Star Lady model, equipped with a wide visor for optimal protection.

Finally, the world of workplace safety, where KASK has brought all the technology and design cultivated in sports disciplines to protect workers in their activities: protagonists in this section are Zenith, Plasma and Quantum, helmets that represent all the know-how KASK’s how to on security.

These and many other moments of celebration and activities will take place at Daste Bergamo, in via Daste e Spalenga 13/15, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June.

Free entry for everyone.
