PESCARA – Green Summer Line continues its exploratory journey and this time the focus is on Abruzzo. In tomorrow’s episode, Sunday 16 June, at 12.20 pm on Rai 1, the hosts Angela Rafanelli And Calabrian Peppone will lead to the discovery of the pearls of the Teramo coast. The broadcast will start from the suggestive beach of Roseto degli Abruzzi, and then direct attention towards the Torre del Cerrano, where the biodiversity of the protected marine area will be explored and the monitoring activities of the Fratino, a bird that chooses Italian beaches to nest.

The route will continue along the Bike to Coast cycle/pedestrian path, a 130 km itinerary that crosses the Sette Sorelle, the municipalities of the Costa Giardino of Teramo. But that’s not all: viewers will also be able to learn more about local traditions, from the production of wine and oil to the breeding and recovery of Atria chickens. Furthermore, we will discover traditional recipes within the Borsacchio Nature Reserve, where we will follow the widespread hospitality and catering project for the relaunch of Montepagano, a village of medieval origins.

Creativity will be at the center of the visit to Roseto degli Abruzzi, where the mosaicist Bruno Zenobio will celebrate his fifty-year career with the exhibition of his works, which use the most diverse materials. Furthermore, the episode will touch on Atri, where you can admire the cathedral, follow the traditions of transhumance, sheep breeding and the unique charm of the gullies.

Finally, the journey will take you through the hills of the municipality of Sant’Egidio alla Vibrata, famous for the production of Teramo ventricina, and to Giulianova, where a caliscendi, a typical local structure dedicated to fishing, will be explored. An event not to be missed to discover the riches of Abruzzo through its traditions, nature and culture.
