now the square awaits the market

A little piece of the future has begun to take shape at Bari. After the transition weeks following the playout win against Ternana, the first pieces of what will be next season’s club are slowly falling into place. The first choice, the one relating to the sporting director, has now been made a few days ago: the Via Torrebella club has in fact chosen to focus on Giuseppe Magalini of Catanzaro, which probably will not be made official before next June 30th, when the manager will free himself from the contractual obligation that binds him to the Calabrian team.

As regards the decision regarding the coach, however, the company’s favors are oriented towards Moreno Longo, a name that due to its status and curriculum will certainly find those who are the favorites of the market. These two profiles will make up the squad called upon to redeem a season that was absolutely below expectations and to re-establish a minimum level of trust in the club towards the club. The first stone, in this regard, was laid with the redemption of Giuseppe Sibilli: the former Pisa playmaker was one of the few happy notes of the championship just ended and will represent the pillar around which the future Bari will be built.

A Bari that, however, he will not have among his ranks Marco Nasti. For the attacker, appreciated both in the academy and in Serie A, the right of redemption was not exercised, which is why the player will return to Milan to be loaned out again. Like him, there are several profiles who have completed their red and white experience, from Aramu to Acampora, passing through Brenno And Guiebre, until you get to Diaw. The rest of the team will have to be built almost from scratch.

The task will be anything but simple. The square, never like this season, will be demanding and not inclined to concede for free certificates of trust. Only a competitive squad and results on the field will be able to mend a deep rift between club and fans.
