The time is approaching to celebrate short auteur cinema, whose event aims to enhance the territory. From 25 to 27 June, in the courtyard of the town hall Palma Campaniawill take place on Cinecì CortiCulturalClassic Festival Award 2024relationship between Cinema and Food.
The initiative organized by the “Napoli Cultural Classic” association, in collaboration with the Municipality of Palma Campania, with the support of various cultural and social associations in the Palma area coordinated by the president of the municipal council Dr. Elvira Franzese. It is a competition of short films, documentaries, video creations or video interviews and other films in which there are reflections on food. The resulting festival gives space to an exhibition that focuses on eating habits, habits and customs relating to food. The festival hosts, with a separate section, young foreign filmmakers from all over the world.
The intent is to broaden the “focus” on as many food cultures as possible. During the awards evening, under the artistic direction of Massimo Andrei who has been managing the award with mastery and elegance for 9 years, the prizes will be publicly awarded to the authors competing in the trio. Two special prizes will be awarded, the Vincenzo Russo prize and the prize in memory of Salvatore Ferrara. Guests Isa Danieli, Peppe Lanzetta, Vincenzo De Lucia, Gnut and many others. The technical direction of the work is by Lorenzo Maffia.
