The recently concluded G7 has put Italy back at the center of the world. In particular Borgo Egnaziathe small town in Puglia where the prestigious international summit took place. Giorgia Meloni, hostess of the event, welcomed the leaders of the most influential states in the world to our country. And she received the applause of all the foreign newspapers, which they have underlined the prestige of the Prime Minister as the only G7 leader who does not risk being ousted in the short term.
But compliments to the leader of the Brothers of Italy also came from a political exponent of the opposition. This is the outgoing mayor of Bari Antonio Decaro, just elected to the European Parliament after obtaining an avalanche of preferences among the voters of the Democratic Party. The mayor wanted to thank Giorgia Meloni for giving great visibility to his region. “The work of the G7 in Puglia concluded today. However, not everyone at the Nazarene is of the same opinion. The governor of Puglia Michele Emiliano criticized Giorgia Meloni’s choice regarding the location that hosted the summit. “The mayor of Fasano was right to write a letter because actually if a philatelic cancellation it was appropriate to specify that Borgo Egnazia is located in Fasanoa very important city with great tradition”.
