The request of registration for Ancona’s Serie C was rejected by Covisoc. The Marches are therefore excluded from next season’s championship, freeing up a place for the Milan under 23. The mayor of Ancona Daniele Silvettispoke on TVPlayhowever, discarded this hypothesis, effectively confirming the verdict of the Federal Commission: “Covisoc has sanctioned the exclusion of Ancona Calcio from Serie C due to some breaches relating to salaries. Ancona’s ownership is 95% at Hong Kong in the person of Tony Tiong, 5% remained with the old owner Canil.
