CAMPOBASSO – In Molise, as of 31 December 2023, 10,882 blood donations were made by the 8,713 members registered with Avis, of which 8,370 donors. We learn from the report published by Avis on the occasion of ‘World Blood Donor Day’ which is celebrated today.
For this circumstance, a campaign was also launched to raise awareness among young people about the importance of donating blood and plasma, dispelling false myths that are still widespread. The initiative born from the collaboration between the Minister for Sport and Youth, through the Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service and National Avis, is called ‘Good blood does not lie’. It will be spread on the Instagram and Facebook channels of the two entities.
