(ANSA) – MILAN, JUNE 15 – Wagamama opens its doors to summer with the new menu inspired by Korean cuisine, also known as K-Food. From 19 June, new dishes will be available in the wagamama restaurants managed by Chef Express, a catering company of the Cremonini Group, which focus on the intense and authentic flavors of the Korean culinary tradition.
The new menu enriches the Donburi category with gochujang rice bowls, i.e. dishes prepared with rice, fresh vegetables and proteins, enriched with a gochujang mayonnaise, a fermented red chilli paste with a dense, sweet and pungent flavour. A mix of fresh flavors ideal for the summer season. The new proposals also include crispy soba, rice noodles prepared with eggs, leeks, bean sprouts, spring onions and chilli pepper, seasoned with spicy teriyaki sauce and garnished with chilli pepper and coriander. New extras are also arriving, such as garlic fried rice and coconut rice, and a selection of desserts with a fresh and strong flavour.
The summer proposal is enhanced by the first wagamama drink list, an offer of artisanal cocktails, mixed with spirits of Asian origin, and mindful drinks, premium non-alcoholic drinks, designed to meet the tastes of both mixology enthusiasts who want to try new drink-dish pairings, both for those looking for more natural, alcohol-free and less caloric options.
The growing popularity of Korean cuisine, which has conquered the tastes of an increasingly wider audience also thanks to the diffusion of Korean TV series which have become famous, has inspired the new summer offer.
At the basis of the new menu is the kaizen philosophy typical of the wagamama activity which, aiming for continuous improvement, brings the cuisine to an increasingly higher level of experimentation and innovation. All this keeping as a point of reference the concept of Itsuraku, the search for pleasure, which for wagamama is associated with the joy of eating good food in the company of friends and family.
