Which continues: “Once again the territories remain victims of crime and organized crime, and the first victims of these heinous acts are honest citizens and defenseless administrators. The commitment and self-denial of all those who work in the city for the valorization and liberation of the territory of Bitonto, Palombaio and Mariotto is put to the test by these grim and evident episodes which, despite their exceptional nature, constitute a wound and a slap in the face to respectable citizens, who live thanks to daily, honest work and the sweat of their own brow.”
“We hope that these thugs will soon be brought to justice thanks to the tireless work of the investigators and the police forces to whom our solidarity and request for help goes.
With the hope that the National Government will not leave Mayors and local administrators alone to fight in the territories, ensuring the right funding and necessary resources for the entire sector of the Order Public, regardless of the geographical area of residence and, indeed, with an eye to the South, already strongly affected by the threats of differentiated autonomy”, concludes the post.
